  1. We have had quite a few patients noting/complaining that online booking is quite confusing and we agree that it is not user-friendly.
    Possible alterations could be:
    - Moving the booking a class box as most people go on initially and think they are booking in a class and aren't quite sure how to book an appointment

    As well as that we have had a couple of patients lately come in thinking they had booked an appointment but they hadn't completed the process online so there may be some fine-tuning needed there to ensure bookings are completed/confirmed.

  2. When the site is selected it shows all available clinicians but when you search via the drop down boxes, you have to select a site and the clinician type, then if you want to see the availability of another person you have to select the different clinician type. Would it not be better to just have the site or at least not "require" a clinician type?

  3. If provider numbers could be included in the condition area as this is not displayed unless you put it after the referrers name. We would find this helpful when doing manual claims

  4. Sometimes we have clients who present themselves as undesirable persons to let into our clinic (indecent exposure, sexual assault, fail to pay etc). I would dearly love an option to block them from booking online. I currently use highlights to alert us to such persons but to stop their ability to book online would assist us in keeping them out of our system.

    Gensolve has embarked on a project to redesign and rebuild our booking portal system from scratch with your suggestions as well as our own ideas in mind. We have engaged with market leading UI/UX designers to inspire the redesign of the booking portal to ensure we bring you the best product possible.


    Some key improvements we have focused on include:


    • Improving usability and reducing clicks
    • Simplifying the pathway needed for a booking, including mandatory selection of modality (physio, chiro, exercise physio etc), location and type of appointment (new or follow up etc). If you don’t have more than one modality or location your clients are not presented with these choices.
    • Adding custom filters for your clinical staff, e.g. shoulder specialist, senior clinician, pilates instructor. These are custom filters input by you.
    • Client back end for managing appointments, payments and client details.
    • Geotargeting for the closest location to your client.

  5. Hi Guys,
    Our receptionist brought up a small issue with the GPM web booking system, which I thought might be an easy fix.
    Here’s the problem: when clients book a new appointment, they get sent a confirmation email, which gets Bcc’d to reception. However, our receptionists use Gmail’s “Conversation View” to manage their inbox, and under this system, emails with the same subject line get grouped together – so all web bookings end up ‘hiding’ behind each other and are easily overlooked in a busy reception context.
    The simplest solution seems to be to put some sort of unique identifier…

  6. Pick a time based either on clinician OR service type
    AND ensure that only the correct services/ clinician respectively come up as options ... with the option of earliest clinician available if service type is the searched variable

  8. Please link the ethnicity between the patient information screen and the ACC45. The information comes from the ACC45 but needs to be entered on the patient information screen so we need to switch screen. Make it like the employment infomations

  10. We have recently been affiliated with Southern Cross and are able to invoice SC directly for our patients. We would ideally like to save their membership number on our files and wondered if a new tab could be created on the front patient screen?

At the moment we've just got some top-level information on the clinician booking page (we figure it’s best not to overload people with information while they’re in the decision-making zone) but it'd be great to be able to link back to their full bio on our website if people do want to learn more.
    Are html links something the booking portal could potentially do?

  15. Is it possible to separate the book a class section of the online booking portal?
    The reason I ask is we’ve set up our pilates classes so that clients have to complete a ‘fundamentals’ session before they’re allowed to book classes (for their own safety… and the sanity of their instructor ;-). Plus the information we need to convey to clients before booking a class is quite different to that of a physio client.
    It'd be much easier for us (and more intuitive for the clients) to do this through separate pages.

  16. When you are searching whether a client is already on Gensolve, you go to the arrow to be up the find box but if the client is not already loaded you have to cancel and then hit "N" for new client. Why can't we "Create new" from inside the find box, so you would have 3 choices at the bottom, to hit OK, Cancel, or Create New client

  19. At the moment booking a class is a two-step process: first choose which class you'd like to attend (i.e.: Monday at 5pm) and then look to see when it's next available (ie: in three week's time). Then repeat the process until you find one that suits.
    I'm sure that works for some clients, but I expect a lot of people search on the basis of "What's available this week?" I think a week-view calendar option would streamline things for these people.

  20. At the moment clinicians 'professional statements' only allow for plain text. Given that this is our last chance to direct the right client to the right therapist, it'd be great if we could include bold text, bullet lists etcetera to help us get the information across as effectively as possible... full html would be even better.
