Gender
Hi, We are updating out initial client forms to become more gender/sex equal. Our physiotherapist has recently complete PD which involved units around this. They're suggest having the following options when collecting patient information
Gender: M (male), F (female) and X (intersex/interdeterminate).
Sex: M (male), F (female) and X (unspecified).At the moment when you create a new patient you can only select M or F and you must select at least one or the file won't save.
I have uploaded a snippet of the APA PD document for reference.

Ability to flag an appointment as a home visit so the SMS reminder is different
Ability to flag an appointment as a Home Visit. This enables the SMS autoschedule to use a Home Visit SMS template. This avoids confusion so they don't get an SMS saying their appointment is at the site location.

When appointment is cancelled with a reason (eg. unwell with details written in) could this be sent to clinicians to do list to keep track of clients who need to be followed up

Placing a lock on Clinical Notes
To comply with the Australian Government's Information Privacy Principles (see Principle 4 of attached file- Storage and Security of Personal Information), the standards of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) and the Australian Psychological Society's (APS) policies and procedures for confidential record keeping, a request is being made for a lock feature to be placed on any Clinical Note made in Gensolve.
As the Clinical Notes often contain quite sensitive and confidential information, placing a lock feature on these notes would offer security that greater measures are being taken to safeguard this information. Our company would greatly appreciate if this feature…9 votes -
Make the header area larger
The header bar where all the details of patients phone numbers etc is very small and seeing the phone number without actually opening the clients file is hard to see.

Alert when spot opens up in diary for someone on waiting list
It would be really helpful if there was some sort of alert that occurs when a spot opens up on the diary on a day that you have people on the waiting list wanting - so that you don't have to keep checking the waiting list whenever someone moves or cancels

Patient notes entirely in one click by right clicking their name
Being able to see all their notes with one click of a button starting at the most recently made. Going down from there through their previous visits and conditions.

Icon for confirmed patients
Would be great if we could have the ability to manually add an icon to the face of the patients appt that indicates that the patient has confirmed they will be attending their appt. Currently when a reminder sms is sent a tick appears in the top left hand corner and when they have paid a dollar sign with a yellow circle appears in the top right hand corner - A symbol such as a double tick or the letter C would be helpful so that we can tell from a quick glance who had confirmed and who is yet…

Submit rather than save on forms
When we send out entry forms to clients, a lot of people think that when they hit save they are saving their progress rather than submitting the form. If you could please change the button to say submit rather than save

one touch private health / gap payments
it would be great if the application was able to store (with consent) patient private health / credit card details, such that for review consultations patients have an option to just confirm the same mode of payment as used at their initial consultation, and the system then does the rest.
Ideally it would work similarly to the way a retail website can remember my name, credit card details and delivery address, enabling one-click ordering. this would save frustrated patients queuing to pay and reduce admin workload.5 votes -

Now that Icare are using Medipass for invoices it would be great if Gensolve could integrate with them. We send a lot of invoices to Icare making it time consuming.

Can you please add a tag in the email templates for the patient's name. A lot of insurance companies are asking for the name in the subject line now.

Client Search by Maiden Name
Name field 'Maiden Name' is currently not searchable.
As we are a practice which deal in Family Court matters, our clients can be known initially by their married name and change to their maiden name during their time with us. We need to be able to search on both 'Last Name' and 'Maiden Name' fields as in court documents they will continue to be known by their 'Last Name' but emails might later come through with their 'Maiden Name' and we need to be able to find them in Gensolve under either.4 votes -

With Medicare cards, it would be good to have a spot to put the expiry date in
Add in a spot where we can put in Patients medicare expiry date- most often medicare rebate fails because the patn has a new card.

for the purpose of sending the same message to a group or class as a one-off sms. currently not available.

Multiple payments received at once
Is there a way that two different payment methods can be entered without having to save and close each time and then reopening to enter the second payment method. This is nearly with every transaction we do as most are split HICAPS and EFTPOS payments. This would be much more efficient and a huge time saver.
