Send Word Documents as PDF Documents in Healthlink
As some GP's don't have Word, they are unable to open our consult letters that have been typed in Word, so to have the ability to change them to a PDF document so they can be opened would be great.

As with other comments on this topic, we too also have practitioners/referrers who don't have Word and are unable to open word documents which we send through Healthlink. They require pdf files through Healthlink but at present we either have to email pdf's or save document as a pdf, upload to the uploads section of the patient file and then attach as a letter via Healthlink. Very time consuming with a very high error risk. Please initiate this option into Healthlink. Regards Carol Rose

I was advised to add this for clarification:
To have the option of converting/saving/merging letter templates and reports into a PDF document for handling in the Healthlink and email systems within Gensolve directly without the need to manually generate, save locally, convert and then upload again. Expected benefit being greater security in patient documentation, reduced handling of documents and reduced risk of duplication -

I was advised to add this wording to clarify the request further:
To have the option of converting/saving/merging letter templates and reports into a PDF document for handling in the Healthlink and email systems within Gensolve directly without the need to manually generate, save locally, convert and then upload again. Expected benefit being greater security in patient documentation, reduced handling of documents and reduced risk of duplication
