Online Booking - Email confirmation instead of SMS
Hi Gensolve,
When our clients first sign up to online booking they need to reply to an SMS message to confirm they are a person and not a machine and to also confirm the appointment.
We have some young and elderly clients who do not have mobile phones but use email often. Could we have an option to choose SMS or email to receive the confirmation where you would click on a link to confirm your account?
Thanks
Brad

There is the ability now to choose ReCaptcha as verification for both registering and booking.
The user and the clinic will still receive an email confirmation of the appointment booked. -

Hi Brad
We now have more configuration options for Verification.
You can choose 'No Verification', which means when a client is using the online booking portal for the first time, they will need to verify via an sms code only when they register.
After that, they can book appointments without any verification needed.
When the appointment has been booked, they will receive a confirmation email.
Alternatively, you have the option to bypass sms altogether and use ReCaptcha Verification instead. This link from our Support Centre explains
