make Gensolve compatible with Chrome books
I would like to explore the use of chrome books for our staff. We have 20 laptops in use each with Gensolve. Chrome books are faster, cheaper and reliable and would save our business money and time. At present Gensolve uses word and the office suite. Is there a way currently to use Google docs rather than word? If not is there any plan to have this functionality. We use Google docs and Drive for our management and intranet and I think our business would operate better again if we were able to use the chrome book.
Hi
To update information since this suggestion was created, the reason the main desktop version of Gensolve cannot run on Chromebooks is because they do not have a Windows operating system.
We are however in the final stages of development and testing for a brand new Web version of Gensolve which will be rolled out in the near future. This version will include the ability to create medical notes for example and is aimed at full Clinician use. It will be able to be accessed via any browser on any device so look out for communication on that in the coming months.
Please contact our Support team by submitting a ticket or emailing support@gensolve.com for information regarding Microsoft Word alternatives and any questions on the above.
Regards
Ann

I'm not bothered about compatability with chromebooks but would certainly like to see being able to use google docs rather than microsoft word
